Parker Structural Engineering worked on the structural design and construction administration services for this one-story house remodel and addition in Carlsbad, CA. The transformation of this existing 1500-sf conventional residence into a 2700-sf modern home features high volume ceilings with flat roofs, full height glass walls, a 27' long sliding door opening to the backyard, and a reflection pond which abutts the house just outside the master bedroom.
